Not been able to get out on the bank for a while due to work picking up but finally managed a short session in the evening just as the sun was on its way down.
Headed to the mark with only a small period of daylight left but conditions looked good for this shallow bay. On went the Savage Gear 3D Bleak Glide 135 in the Firetiger pattern and i swung it along the reed line to my right, decided on a twitch retrieve which makes this lure glide side to side just under the surface and half way back it was grabbed! nice to feel a bend in the rod after some time!
A short fight and a pike of around 4lb was safely chinned, unhooked in the water and released with lots of energy still as you can see in the vid below!
